about

Leeds-based Ian Scott and Joe Wretham aka Big Mister Doom bring detailed, rich and deeply textured electronic music on their debut EP ‘Tinderbox’, out on Fremdtunes. Taking influence from genres including Minimal Techno, IDM and Leftfield Hip Hop, the two introduce the listener to their universe of music. The title-track evolves from a subtle yet flammable, groovy tune into an absolute dancefloor filler. The two take it downtempo on the atmospheric, mellow ‘Wilderness’. Pierce Warnecke flexes his muscles and chops, screws, tweaks until ‘Tinderbox’ sounds like it’s been revisited by skillful aliens. OptiMace combines forces with guitar player Budy Mokoginta and singer-songwriter iET, making ‘Wilderness’ sound like an adventurous ride into the wild.
